How Do I Maintain Artificial Grass with Pets?

Q: How Do I Maintain Artificial Grass with Pets?

Pet-friendly turf maintenance is a major concern for many of our clients. We install turf that drains efficiently and resists odors, but ongoing care is essential for hygiene and comfort. Regular grooming will help keep pet hair from accumulating, especially if you have long-haired breeds. If odor becomes a concern, a deeper rinse with vinegar and water can help neutralize smells. To keep your turf clean and pet-safe: Remove solid waste daily using a scooper or plastic bag. Rinse urine spots thoroughly with water to avoid buildup. Use turf-safe enzymatic cleaners for odor control. Allow the turf to dry fully before allowing pets back on.
