The Problem
Two dogs had worn the backyard grass down to dead grass and dirt patches. Water stood in the yard after rain, and the dogs tracked mud into the house.
What We Built
We removed the worn grass and regraded the yard, then built a compacted decomposed granite base that lets water drain through instead of standing on top. That fixed the puddles without separate drainage. On top went pet turf with antimicrobial infill, so the yard rinses clean and the dogs come inside with clean paws.
